Board your A-ROSA ship in Cologne and sail south overnight for a wonderful morning at pretty Koblenz and then on to Mainz, passing through the Rhine Gorge and beneath the legendary Lorelei. You’ll moor up at Mainz for the night and step ashore the next morning, before sailing back up the Rhine in the early afternoon to the famous wine town Rüdesheim, where you’ll spend the night.

Enjoy a blissful day on the water as you join the Moselle at Koblenz, then moor overnight at the quintessential medieval twin towns of Bernkastel–Kues. You’ll have the entire following day to explore the towns, which are located on opposite sides of the Moselle amid picturesque vineyards. Early next morning, you’ll tie up at Mehring, for the UNESCO­­­­-protected Roman city of ­Trier, established by Emperor Augustus, before a final call the following day at picture-perfect Cochem, with its fantastic medieval castle looming over the pastel-coloured waterfront buildings, completes a wonderful cruise.
